“Most of us, I think, battle internally with the forces of good and evil, our inner voices. It’s what makes us human, our ability to reason and try to do the right thing, but also accept ourselves for who we are. That is what Tell Me Why is about, I think… “ The song was written in the early days of the Covid pandemic and originally appeared as the 4th track on the 2021 album ‘Wisdom of Crowds’. This remixed and remastered version will be available on all digital platforms on Friday, February 17.
OUT NOW! 'Home Sweet Home' is a fresh remix of the opening track of the Animal Souls LP 'Wisdom of Crowds' (released Aug 2021). The track was written in 1989 after an interesting encounter with a homeless gent in downtown Vancouver.. accompanying Michael Fisher (bass, keys, vocals) are Chris Murray Driver (Darby Mills Project, Doug & The Slugs) on drums and Preston Anthony Sawyer on guitars & vocals
OUT NOW! 'Midnight Sky (featuring Annika Catharina). This cool new track is a collaboration between Michael Fisher (music) and Annika (lyrics)... Annika sings lead and Mara Hatklin (lead vocals on 'Lessons of Love') returns with some lush backing vocals. The track was co-produced with Pete Cordalis at Green Room Studios in Abbotsford, BC... Cover art by Michelle Duff .. Michelle also did the cover art for 'Lessons of Love' :)

NEW Animal Souls track is on the way! Michael & Pete are back at Green Room Studios layering the music tracks for Alison Cowie (UK) who will be laying down the vocals on an upcoming release 'ON MY WAY'. The song is another co-write with Michael providing the music and Alison the lyrics. Hoping to have the song ready for release in early 2023.
